Campus Equity Council: One faculty member who is a member of the Faculty and Student Policies (FASP) Committee, 2 year term, in accordance with (EM 12 014)

Financial Aid Advisory Committee: One faculty member. Committee meets 4 6 times per year to discuss Financial Aid policy.
Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC): Two faculty members, 2 years staggered. (One potentially the GE Sustainability Pathway Coordinator.) The role of the CSC is to serve in an advisory capacity to all campus departments, colleges and other entities in an effort to advance environmental, social and economic sustainability at CSUC in accordance with EM 11 017.
Commencement Committee: Three faculty for a 1 year term (1 chosen by Senate, 2 chosen by Council of Academic Deans). Plans and conducts commencement exercises in accordance with the Commencement Policy. Works with the Director of Alumni Relations. (EM 84 05)
Executive Management Evaluation And Development: Four faculty members, 2 year terms in accordance with (EM 03 10)
Environmental Affairs Council (Associated Students): One faculty, 1 year term, renewable. Council is to act as an advocate for the general health of the Earth's physical and biological environment, and to raise and address specific issues associated with the environment. (Code)

International Programs (Academic Council For): One faculty member by the chair of the Academic Senate upon consultation with the Provost and the Director of International Studies. Council plays a significant leadership role in our pan collegial efforts to internationalize the University and its curriculum.
Academic Integrity (Council for Promoting) (CPAI): Seven faculty (4 chosen by Senate, 2 from Graduate Coordinators' Committee, 1 by the Provost) in accordance with (EM 04 36)
Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Committee: One faculty member in accordance with (EM 05 019)
Arboretum Committee: Four faculty members, 2 year term, renewable. Participates in the development and critique of policies and plans that affect the campus Arboretum and related programs.
First Year Experience: One faculty member appointed by the Academic Senate officers for a one year period. The IRA committee will make recommendations to the President on the level of IRA fees and the allocation of IRA fees. (EM 87 09)

Legislative Affairs Council (Associated Students): One faculty member, 1 year appt., renewable. The Legislative Affairs Council is chaired by the AS Director of Legislative Affairs. This council is responsible for keeping the student body informed of all legislative action which affects students, empowers students to vote by coordinating a campus based voter registration each semester there is an election, as well as hosting various forums of a political nature.
Academic Status Committee: Eight faculty (one from each College) in accordance with (EM 05 03)
Faculty And Student Policies Committee: One of the two Standing Committees of the Academic Senate, though which the Senate does most of its work. In addition to the senators appointed to the committee, there are seats for three faculty (non senators), 1 year term. Concerned with all issues relating to faculty retention, tenure, and promotion; faculty recognition, support, professional development, and leaves; faculty governance, such as department chair policies and relations between faculty and administration. This committee, in consultation with the VPSA, will recommend student policies to the University President. are Thursdays at 2:30 pm in Kendall 209.

Event Funding Allocation Council (Associated Students): faculty, 1 year term, renewable. This is a funding council chaired by the AS Commissioner of Student Programs and Organizations (SOAP). This council is in charge of allocating funds to support events run by recognized student organizations and clubs on campus. The goal of the council is to fund programs, projects and events that have an academic, social or educational emphasis and directly benefits the CSUC students.

Responsible for making recommendations to the Provost or designee on the implementation, monitoring, and development of the GE program. In consultation with appropriate disciplinary faculty, it is responsible for the coordination of assessment and the addition or deletion of individual courses as well as any proposed substitutions. Since CAB will advise the Provost on a major university program, it may either initiate advice or respond to requests for advice. (EM 10 01)
